*International Students who will NOT pursue optional practical training in the U.S. may
substitute this class for another GS Elective under advisement
NOTE: While most online classes in this degree can be completed on either a MAC or PC, a few
classes in this degree require software that is only available for a Macintosh or PC computer.
Please coordinate with your Advisor on the hardware requirements for each degree
program.

Admissions Requirements
The requirements for all Academy of Art University MFA programs are as follows:
1) Proof of graduation from a BA or BFA program (or the equivalent in another country, i.e.
official college transcripts)
2) A portfolio representing the student's work in the area of study for which the student is
applying
3) A letter of intent that explains why the prospect wants to take on the MFA program
4) A resume and letters of recommendation
