Program Description
The Graphic Illustration Program is currently offering a bachelor's degree including a streamlined second degree program, and an associate degree online. Graphic Illustration is an exciting new program offered by the Academy of Art University, bringing together the disciplines of illustration and graphic design to meet the marketplace’s growing need for artists trained in drawing, painting, and typography. We provide a strong curriculum taught by professionals, emphasizing the fundamentals that are required to excel in the commercial field. Blending contemporary, digital, and traditional techniques, the program takes advantage of the many opportunities available in the link between graphic design and illustration. The Graphic Illustration program provides a unique educational solution for new and timely careers in professional art.
