Hip & Shoulder Angles in the Fashion Pose
Once the pelvic box is understood, there is the realization that the hips and shoulders work at opposite angles to one another. When weight is put on one leg, that hip rises and the shoulder above bends to meet that hip. On the opposite side of the figure, the hip falls and the shoulder rises. Notice that the hip angle line goes right through the center of the hips, not at the waist or navel and not at the crotch line.
