Fashion Scholarship Exchange in Paris

Through the Sister City Scholarship Exchange Program, the School of Fashion awards scholarships to study abroad in Paris with Studio Berçot and L’Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne.

Recent honorees include Bridget Miranda Sidden, Natalia Carorina, Dee Larsen, Elizabeth Siedow, and Ghazaleh Khalife.

Program Details:

• The School of Fashion awards scholarships to study abroad in Paris with Studio Berçot and L’E cole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne.
• The scholarship awards full tuition for one year.
• Living and travel expenses are responsibility of the student.
• Candidates must have knowledge of French.

Eligibility:

• All seniors
• Juniors who are enrolled in or have completed Fashion Design 4
• MFA and BFA students
  

Deadline for Submission: March 20th

Submission Details:

Send a request for consideration in the interviewing process, including:
- Full name
- Contact information (email/ cell phone)
- Level of Fashion Design class you are currently enrolled

Interviews:

A committee including Directors and Assistant Directors of the School of Fashion will conduct interviews and portfolio reviews
OnCampus students: Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 11 am, room 715
Online students: Via Skype, Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at a pre-arranged time

Portfolio requirements:

• Three or more completed design projects
• Finished garments may be included but are not required
• Online students should send digital files of their portfolio no later then March 31, 2010
