
This 7-week summer program includes intensive study and sight-seeing in and around Florence and Paris. Students will visit architecturally significant interiors and sites to sketch on location. They will tour museums and studios of local artisans. They will also visit interior spaces of homes, hotels and other notable buildings while learning from interior design experts, Shari Canepa and James Freed.
Subjects of study will include sketching on location and Interior Design Concepts. Classes will be held Monday through Thursday for six hours each day. All instructors are Academy faculty teaching to the same high standards as in on-campus classes.

Excursions: All overnight trips include transportation, hotels, museums, and free exploration time.
Program fee includes airfare, accommodation, and all transportation.
Accommodation: Students are accommodated in full apartments with kitchen and internet access.
