Study Abroad Programs

The Academy of Art University has several study abroad programs to further enrich your art education. They are intensive creative and cultural experiences that immerse students in the art-making process as well as the European cultural context from which it is derived. All classes are taught by Academy faculty teaching to the same high standards as in on-campus classes.

The Printmaking & Drawing program in Italy is an immersive creative and cultural experience in the small town of Corciano, with excursions to some of Italy's most notable sights.

Liberal Arts is offering a 3-week tour of art, culture, and architecture in the United Kingdom.

In the Interior Architecture & Design program students study, sketch on location, and tour sites in and around Florence, Italy and Paris, France.

The Photography department offers an intensive on-location photography program based in the quaint Italian town of Corciano, with trips to Cinque Terra, Florence and Venice.

The Fashion department awards two students per year with an exchange scholarship to study in Paris at Studio Berçot or L'Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne.
