I'm happy to share with you the news that my photograph "1+10" from the project Formula has been selected to appear in the Best of College Photography 2009 hardbound book, published by Photographer's Forum Magazine. It has also been entered as a finalist for the 29th Annual College Photography Contest, with the winners being announced at the end of February.
My photograph "Peer Pressure" recently received honorable mention for the 2008 IPA Photographer of the Year competition... I feel very blessed to have found AAU, as it was one of the best choices I've ever made. It's helped me more than I can possibly articulate...

I absolutely love my class! It has been a little intimidating because it
is an art class and I am not an artist, but I am really having fun with it and learning a lot! I
would have to say that I think that I found my favorite method of going to graduate school—on line.
I really like how organized the lessons are, and the cds are very helpful, especially in my art
class, in helping me to learn in a more "hands on" manner.

...I had my doubts as to whether online would work for an art course. I'm
more than pleased. I dream about painting at night. I look for form shadows and cast shadows
everywhere. (I see them in the landscape now!) As I said, it's turning out to be a wonderful
